Our Founder

Ms. Vaishali Pai

Vaishali, an Occupational Therapist (OT) with a distinguished career spanning three decades, holds the esteemed title of a Gold medallist in both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. Her extensive expertise has been honed through collaborations with renowned institutions like the Spastics Society of India, Mallya Hospital, Vydehi Institute of Rehabilitation, and Align Centre.

As a certified Early Interventionist, Vaishali demonstrates remarkable proficiency in caring for infants and newborns, showcasing her abilities in diverse situations and facilities. Her specialized focus includes Paediatric Rehabilitation and Sports Rehabilitation, employing a diverse set of techniques such as Occupational Therapy methodologies, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and Pranic Healing.

Vaishali stands out among the founders of some of the best organizations for developmentally disabled individuals. Utilizing her certification as an NLP practitioner to master methodologies crucial for remedial teaching, her expertise extends to children facing learning challenges and those on the Autism spectrum, as well as those dealing with hyperactivity or attention deficit issues.

Looking towards the future, Vaishali plans to incorporate the lesser-known technique of EMG Biofeedback. This innovative approach holds promise for aiding both children and adults in dealing with physical dysfunction resulting from brain damage. Vaishali’s dedication and diverse skill set underscore her role as a key figure in schools for autism in Bangalore and developmental disabilities organizations.

Our COO

Ms. Tripti B G

The first one to join Tamahar 15 years ago, Tripti has been the all important pillar and the driving force behind our stupendous growth in such a short time. She currently is the COO overlooking all the programs that run providing services for the children and their families. Having worked as a volunteer with an organisation for the visually impaired before joining Tamahar, she had the right amount of empathy and understanding to work in this sector.
Working from the ground-level up, she started working as an interventionist in the Early intervention Program. She was handling individual sessions of children which grew into group sessions. She has hands on learning of strategies to achieve the goals set for children along with managing behaviour issues and communication problems of these children.

She enrolled herself for a Diploma course in Autism which helped her understanding of the children with autism better. By the time she completed the diploma, she had about 3 years of work experience.
Tamahar had started Functional Academics program which she helped design and started training other interventionists. The programs kept growing in terms of the number of children, the syllabus for them and the other functional skills that were planned for them.
Tripti’s caring nature for her team is responsible for them growing from strength to strength.
